What is Apsis One?

Apsis One is a multi-channel marketing platform. It lets you collect and manage contact data, segment your audience, create and send communications across Email and SMS, build automated marketing flows, run events, and track how people interact with your content — all from a single interface.

Instead of switching between separate tools for email, automation, and data, everything in Apsis One is connected. The same contact data that powers your email campaigns also drives your automation flows and your segmentation — so your marketing stays consistent and relevant as your audience grows.

Key concepts to know

Before exploring the tools, it helps to understand a few terms you'll see throughout the platform. These are the building blocks everything else is built on.

Concept

What it means

Profile

A single contact record in Apsis One. Each person who interacts with your brand — a subscriber, a customer, a website visitor — becomes a Profile. Profiles store attributes (like name and email) and events (like clicking a link or submitting a form).

Audience

The total collection of Profiles in your account. Your Audience grows as people subscribe, fill in forms, or are imported from other systems.

Subscription

A Profile's consent to receive communications from you in a specific channel (Email or SMS). A Profile must have an active Subscription before you can send to them.

Segment

A filtered group of Profiles based on rules you define — for example, "all Profiles who opened an email in the last 30 days and are based in Sweden". Segments are dynamic: they update automatically as Profile data changes.

Section

A workspace within your account. Large organisations often use Sections to separate brands, markets, or teams while keeping everything under one account. Each Section has its own Audience, tools, and settings.

Activity

Any piece of content you create and send — an email campaign, an SMS, a form, an event. Activities are created and managed within their respective tools.

The tools at a glance

Apsis One is organised around a set of tools, each accessible from the left-hand navigation menu. Here's what each one does:

Email tool

Create, design, and send email campaigns to your audience. Includes a drag-and-drop editor, templates, A/B testing, and detailed send reports.

SMS tool

Send text message campaigns to subscribed Profiles. Manage SMS consent, personalise messages with profile data, and track delivery and responses.

Marketing Automation

Build automated journeys that respond to how contacts behave. Send a welcome email when someone subscribes, follow up after a click, or re-engage lapsed contacts — automatically.

Forms & Pages

Build sign-up forms and landing pages to grow your audience and collect consent. Embed on your website or share as a standalone link.

Event tool

Manage registrations and communications for in-person or online events. Create event pages, send invitations, and track attendance.

Audience

View, manage, and segment your Profiles. Import contacts, build Segments, and get a full picture of each individual Profile and their interaction history.

Website tool

Add a sign-up bar, cookie banner, or product tracking to your website to capture visitors and enrich Profile data with browsing behaviour.

Integrations

Connect Apsis One to your CRM, ecommerce platform, CMS, or other tools to sync data and power more personalised communications.

ℹ️ Your account may not include all tools

The tools available to you depend on your Apsis One package. If you'd like to activate a tool that isn't visible in your account, reach out to Customer Service.

How it all fits together

The tools in Apsis One are designed to work with each other. Here's a simple example of how a typical setup connects:

  1. A visitor fills in a sign-up form (Forms & Pages tool) on your website — their details are saved as a new Profile with an active Email Subscription.

  2. That sign-up event triggers a Marketing Automation flow — the new subscriber automatically receives a welcome email.

  3. Over the following weeks, you send them regular email campaigns (Email tool) based on their interests.

  4. Profiles who haven't engaged in 90 days are automatically added to a re-engagement flow — and those who still don't respond are flagged for review or unsubscribed.

This kind of connected workflow — where each tool feeds the next — is what makes Apsis One more than the sum of its parts.

Your first steps

Not sure where to begin? Here's the recommended order for getting your account set up:

  1. Log in and complete the Setup wizard — set your password, update your user profile, and optionally enable 2-step verification.

  2. Explore the Dashboard — get familiar with the home screen and understand your account usage at a glance.

  3. Work through the Getting Started Checklist — a guided task list covering the essential account setup steps.

  4. Import or collect your first contacts — bring in an existing list via the File Import Wizard, or set up a sign-up form to start building your audience organically.

  5. Create and send your first email — follow the Create and Send Email – Step by Step guide to send your first campaign.

💡 Take it one tool at a time - You don't need to set everything up at once. Most teams start with Email, then add Marketing Automation once they have a growing audience. Build at the pace that works for you.
