Here's what you need to do to get a new password in case you forget it. If you're looking to learn about how to change an existing password while still logged in, go to the Password and Authentication article.

If your password isn't working for whatever reason, it's best to follow these instructions.

When a wrong password is entered 10 times, your IP Address will automatically be blocked in order to protect your account. This may be your own mistake, or some other person trying to access your account, unauthorized or with the wrong credentials.

1. On the Login page, click the Forgot password link.

2. Enter your email address and click send.

3. You will receive an email with a temporary link. It might take a few minutes. The link expires after 24 hours.

4. Click the link in the email, to open password reset page.

5. Enter new password, and confirm.
