User Profile settings
User Profile settings are personal β they apply only to your own Apsis User account. From here you control how Apsis One looks and behaves for you: your interface language, your time zone, your date format, and your personal contact information.
β
π‘ Two different things called "Profile" β don't mix them up
In Apsis One, the word Profile means two completely different things depending on context:
User Profile (this article) = settings for the logged-in Apsis User β you and your colleagues. These settings only affect what you see and how you experience the platform.
βProfile (no "User" in front) = a subscriber, recipient, or contact in your Audience β the people you're marketing to. These are managed in the Audience tool, not here.
This article is about the first one. Editing your User Profile settings does not change anything about your subscribers' Profiles.

How to access User Profile settings
User Profile settings are available to every Apsis User, regardless of role β even Restricted Users who can't see the rest of Account settings can manage their own User Profile.
Click your personal icon (or your name) in the top right corner.
Select Profile Settings from the dropdown.
Personal Information
Your Personal Information includes your name, email address, mobile number, and other contact details associated with your Apsis User account.
β
Check that the information here is accurate, update anything that needs changing, and click Save.
β
β
π‘ This is your User contact info, not a subscriber Profile
The mobile number and email here belong to you as an Apsis User. They're used for things like SMS-based two-factor authentication on your login. They're not added to any Audience or Subscription.
Time Zone
Open the Time Zone dropdown and select the time zone where you live or work.
This setting is critical β every activity page in Apsis One (sending times, scheduled flows, report timestamps, scheduled imports) uses your time zone to display dates and times. Get it wrong and you'll be confused about when things actually happened or are scheduled to happen.
Time Zone affects display, not data
The Time Zone setting only changes how Apsis One displays times to you. It doesn't change when scheduled emails actually send or when historical events were recorded. If a colleague in a different time zone looks at the same email send report, they'll see times in their Time Zone β but the underlying timestamp is the same.
Account Language (Apsis interface language)
The Account Language setting controls the language of the Apsis One user interface β menus, button labels, settings pages, and tooltips.
Apsis One supports:
English
French
Dutch
Spanish
Swedish
Danish
Norwegian
Finnish
Switch between them with the dropdown, then click Save.
π‘ This changes the platform language for you only
β
Account Language is what you see when using Apsis One. It does not change:
The language of emails you send to subscribers (that's set in each email).
Other Users' interface language (each User picks their own).
The language of any subscriber Profiles in Audience (that's a profile attribute, not a User setting).
Account Language not appearing?
If the Account Language dropdown is missing or limited in your account, it might need to be activated on your account - contact Apsis Customer Service.
Date and number Format
The Format dropdown lets you choose how dates and numbers are displayed throughout Apsis One β for example, whether you see 05/05/2026 or 2026-05-05, and whether decimals use a comma or a period.
This is a personal display preference β it only changes what you see. Other Users in your account can pick their own preference.
Pick the format that suits your region and team conventions, then click Save.
SMS display format
The SMS display format setting controls how SMS credit balances are shown to you across the platform β on the Dashboard SMS Overview widget, the SMS tool start page, and reports.
Note - The option is only available if you are actively using SMS Tool and have an active subscription to credits.
Option 1: Credits balance
Option 2: Credits and SMS balance
Option | What you see | Best for |
Credits balance | The raw number of credits in your account (e.g. 5,500 credits). | Anyone who works with credits directly β finance, internal cost allocation, technical setup. |
Credits and SMS balance | Both the credit number and the equivalent SMS count side by side (e.g. 5,500 credits / 1,000 SMS). | Marketers planning campaigns who need to know "how many SMS can I actually send?" without doing the math. |
This is a personal display preference β it only changes what you see. Other Users in your account can pick their own preference.
Once you've picked your preferred format, click Save.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Likely cause | Fix |
I don't see the Profile Settings option in my dropdown | You're clicking somewhere other than the personal icon, or the menu hasn't fully loaded. | Click directly on your personal icon (or initials/name) in the top right corner. Profile Settings is the first item in the dropdown. |
Times in reports look wrong | Time Zone is set incorrectly. | Open User Profile settings, select your actual Time Zone, and save. Refresh report pages to see updated times. |
Account Language dropdown is missing | The feature is not available on your account. | Contact Apsis Customer Service to request it. |
Changing my Account Language didn't change subscriber-facing emails | Account Language is the Apsis User interface language, not the language of emails you send. | Email language is set in each email or template, not here. See the Email tool collection. |
Changes don't appear to save | You haven't clicked the Save button after editing. | Click Save after each change. If the button is greyed out, no changes have been registered yet. |
Mobile number doesn't update | Field validation may reject improperly formatted numbers. | Use international format with the country code (e.g. +46701234567). Save again. |
