Image Resolution

Question: How to compensate for high resolution displays?

Answer: Some devices rescale your email as they have higher pixel density than traditional displays (like Retina). To compensate, you can choose to upload a larger image. If your intended image display width is 200 pixel, upload an image that is 400 pixel wide.

DPI (dots-per-inch) is not supported in PNG/GIF/JPEG images, but instead handled by the email client/web browser (defaulting to 72 DPI).

Image Formats

Question: How do I best use animated GIF images?

Answer: Some clients only show first frame of an animated GIF. When using an animated GIF image, make sure the first frame of the GIF has the content you want to display.

Question: Can I use SVG images?

Answer: No, APSIS One supports PNG/GIF/JPG format, make sure to convert your images to any of those formats.
