About the Optimizely Integration

The Optimizely Connector (former Episerver) enables Optimizely editors to use Segments created in Audience for personalisation rules in Optimizely. Transfer Segments automatically to Optimizely and use them in combination with other Optimizely conditions.

Connect to Optimizely

The Connector Module is integrated into the Optimizely Rules engine, so it is possible to leverage the standard functionality, including combined rules.

Prerequisites

To integrate Optimizely you'll need an API key. Learn how to create one.

This version of the APSIS One Optimizely plugin is compatible with Optimizely CMS 11 and all later versions, and requires .NET framework 4.6.2.

Make sure that your user has a WebAdmin role to set up the plugin after the installation.

The request limit for the Optimizely plugin is 250 APSIS One API requests per second.


Setting up the Connection

You will need an Administrator role in order to administer the connector and synchronisation amd you'll need a WebAdmin role to set up the plugin.

1. Install Optimizely from an installation file from your APSIS One account manager.

2. Set up the Optimizely plugin.

3. Create Visitor Groups, from Segments created with the Segment Builder.
