SMS credits in Apsis One are purchased as a yearly subscription. Follow the steps below to get started or to order additional credits through a top-up.

Subscribe to SMS
To start sending SMS, you need an active SMS credit subscription. Here's how to set one up:
Step 1. Contact Apsis by sending an email to customerservice.apsis@efficy.com and let us know you'd like to subscribe to SMS credits. You can also reach out via the button in the UI.
Step 2. Choose your yearly SMS volume. Subscriptions are expressed as a number of SMS per year. We can help you estimate the right level based on your planned campaigns and audience size. Example: Subscribing to 10,000 SMS/year adds 55,000 credits to your account (based on the Swedish rate of 5.5 credits per SMS).
Step 3. Apsis representative will confirm the subscription and pricing. The subscription is invoiced yearly, aligned with your main Apsis One subscription renewal.
Step 4. Once confirmed, credits are added to your account and you're ready to send. You can check your balance on the Dashboard (SMS Overview widget) or on the SMS start page.
Purchase a top-up
If you're running low on credits before your subscription renews, you can purchase a top-up.
Before you start: Top-ups are only available if you already have an active SMS subscription.
Step 1. Check your remaining credit balance on the Dashboard or the SMS start page.
Step 2. Contact your Account Manager to request a top-up. Let them know how many additional credits you need.
Step 3. Your Account Manager will confirm the top-up. Credits are added to your account shortly after confirmation.
Please note:
Top-up credits are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Top-ups are priced at approximately twice the subscription rate.
If you find yourself needing top-ups frequently, consider upgrading your subscription instead as the per-credit cost will then be significantly lower.
Upgrade your subscription
If your SMS needs have grown and you want a higher yearly allowance, you can upgrade at any time.
Step 1. Review your credit usage to determine how many additional SMS you need per year. You can export your SMS sending data from the SMS tool to see actual usage per section and time period.
Step 2. Contact your Account Manager with your preferred new volume.
Step 3. Your Account Manager will confirm the upgrade. Upgrading triggers a renewal of your SMS subscription and your credit balance will be set to the new, higher level.

Order a top-up of SMS credits
There are two ways to add SMS credits to your account:
change your subscription size (ongoing) or
buy a one-time top-up.
You can submit your request directly from the platform or by email.
Before you order
Make sure you have the following details ready — they're required to process your request:
Your (Requester) name and email address
The Account ID where you want the credits added (found in Account Settings)
Email address for order approval, if different from the requester
Tip: Not sure how many credits you need? Check your current balance on the Dashboard or the SMS start page, and review your usage by exporting sent SMS data.
How to submit your SMS credit order
Option 1: From the platform
Go to the SMS start page
Click Buy More Credits
Follow the prompts and provide the required information (see below)
Option 2: By email
Send your request to customerservice.apsis@efficy.com with the details below.

If you want to change your subscription size
This adjusts your ongoing credit allocation.

This is a one-time credit purchase added to your current balance.

What happens next
Once we receive your request, our team will process it and confirm via email. If you chose "as soon as possible," credits are typically added within 1-3 business days.
Please note: If your account currently has a negative credit balance, the deficit will be deducted from your new credits automatically. For example: if your balance is −200 and you buy 10,000 credits, your new balance will be 9,800.
