About the Wait for Event Node
The Wait for Event node holds Profiles for a period of time waiting for them to perform a specific action.
If they do perform the Event, you get the opportunity to target them in a more relevant, personalized way. Otherwise, if they don't perform the action within the time period, you may try a different strategy.
Setting Up the node
The Yes and No path way
1. Drag the Wait For Event Node into the Canvas.
As soon as you do you will see that this node has a Yes and No option. This will allow you to create two different path ways for the Profiles in the flow.
Yes: When Profiles enter this node they will remain in the node until they perform an action (Event). Once they do, they will move straight to the next node via the Yes path.
No: Profiles will remain in the node until the timer runs out, and move to the No path instead if they don't perform the action within the timeframe.
2. Click on the node to open it up and see all the available options.
In example you can place the Wait for Event Node right after an email or SMS node and wait for a click.
Then decide what should happen if:
Yes: The Profile has indeed clicked.
No: The time ran out.
